Cases and Cover for Guitars

The Gator GL SG is a lightweight, reinforced case designed for SG electric guitars, combining the manoeuvrability of a gig bag with the strength of a hard case.

ARTICLE N° 105849
Looking for a practical way to protect your SG guitar other than a bulky hard case? The Gator GL SG could be just what you need. It's a clever hybrid format, halfway between a soft case and a flight case, offering real protection without breaking your back.

Inside, the rigid foam shell holds your instrument securely while absorbing shocks. And because the lining is soft, there's no risk of your guitar getting marks or scratches after every journey. There are two storage compartments under the neck, perfect for a few spare strings, a set of picks or even a small tuner.

The exterior is no slouch either. The 600 denier nylon is highly resistant to moisture and snags, which is always reassuring when you're carrying your gear on the tube, in the car or in the rain. There's also a reinforced handle for carrying it by hand, and a removable strap if you prefer to sling it over your shoulder.

The GL SG is clearly designed for musicians who move around a lot, who want to protect their guitar effectively but don't want to be burdened with a big, hard case. It's light, robust, simple and practical. In short, a good compromise for everyday use.
