The Gibraltar 9808OS-AB 9000 Series Saddle Drum Throne is a seat designed for drummers who spend long hours playing and need stable support.
The seat adopts a wide, motorbike saddle shape with thick padding. This shape allows you to move your legs with ease while remaining comfortable. The top is made from black Cordura fabric, a material that resists wear and tear. The edges are reinforced with vinyl stitching to prevent tearing from rubbing.
This model has an adjustable backrest. It can be adjusted in height and inclination to better support the lower back as required. A feature rarely found on standard drum chairs!
Height adjustment is via a threaded spindle. A memory ring ensures that the chosen position is retained from one use to the next. The tripod rests on a double metal base designed to withstand heavy loads. Each foot rests on a thick, non-slip Super Foot rubber pad, designed to prevent the seat from slipping.
When you're doing rehearsals, studio sessions or concerts, this seat helps to reduce fatigue and back pain. So you can stay focused on your playing, without your body holding you back!
