The G-45 features a Gibson Player Port. The Player Port is an original Gibson concept from the early 1960s that has been refined by the acoustic luthier team to deliver a truly revolutionary sonic enhancement that adds a new dimension to tone. The Gibson Player Port allows you to hear the guitar as you play it like you’ve never heard it before, the way your audience hears it, maximizing sonic impact for an immersive playing and listening experience. The G-45 is part of the Generation Collection. Like all models in this collection, it is crafted in Bozeman, Montana by the same highly skilled craftsmen who craft all Gibson acoustics. This model features a solid Sitka spruce top and solid walnut back and sides for a crisp, resonant tone. You’ll find that the slightly thinner-shouldered body is exceptionally comfortable to hold and play. The TUSQ nut and Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners provide rock-solid tuning stability so you can spend more time playing instead of tuning, and the Utile neck with its easy-to-play Advanced Response profile is so comfortable you won't regret it. A gig bag is also included.
