Gibson Hummingbird Standard EC Heritage Cherry Sunburst The Gibson Hummingbird Standard EC makes its character clear from the outset with its solid Sitka spruce top, whilst the Hummingbird EC body shape allows the tone to truly shine. Its solid mahogany back and sides lend it a warm, deep presence, whilst the L.R. Baggs VTC naturally extends this character once plugged in, right up to the stage.

It was Gibson’s first square-shouldered acoustic guitar, with an instantly recognisable silhouette and a soundhole design that has become iconic. Its combination of Sitka spruce, mahogany and a set neck has stood the test of time. Gibson retains this identity on the Standard EC, featuring a cutaway and L.R. Baggs electronics for amplified stage performances.
