The Gibson Les Paul Custom 70s Butter Cream features the aesthetics and construction characteristic of the models from this decade, with a mahogany body combined with a maple top. The nitrocellulose-applied Buttercream finish and Custom-style hardware complete an instrument designed to reflect the evolution of the model during its historic transition to Nashville production.

The Gibson Les Paul Custom 70s Butter Cream immediately evokes an era when sound and elegance went hand in hand. Its mahogany body, topped by a maple top, lays the foundations for a precisely balanced sound, with dense bass and a well-defined attack.
