If the Les Paul Standard 50s is already a benchmark, this Double Trouble edition takes the attachment to the original models even further. Its 'Vintage' nitrocellulose finish offers a subtle patina, as if it had already lived through a few decades of fiery riffs. Each one is individually burst-finished, ensuring that each instrument has its own personality. With its solid mahogany body and rounded, '50s-inspired neck, it offers a warm grip reminiscent of early rock icons.
On the electronics side, meticulously hand-wired, a duo of Burstbucker Alnico 2 pickups capture every nuance with stunning dynamics. Stripped of their covers, these humbuckers have a raw look with their Double Classic White coils, a subtle demarcation that accentuates their retro feel. Orange Drop capacitors and audio taper potentiometers ensure precise control of sonic expression, whether delivering sharp leads or deep rhythms.
The hardware follows the same vintage philosophy, with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop-Bar tailpiece.
