The 7-ply mahogany body is at the heart of its sound personality. The mahogany adds warmth and a clear mid-range, while the 30° chamfers promote a fluid, controlled resonance. The 1.6 mm steel hoops stabilise the barrel and help to keep even tension on the skin, making the tom responsive yet soft under the sticks.

Gretsch skins made by Remo are fitted as standard, allowing you to concentrate on playing rather than tuning. Chrome fittings and the new GTS simplify installation and attachment.
