The Gretsch CC2-J404-BS Catalina Club features 7-ply mahogany drums with a 30° chamfer for deep bass and clear mids.
The 20" x 14" bass drum produces a powerful, resonant sound. The 12" x 8" tom and 14" x 14" bass tom offer clean attacks and controlled sustain. The 14" x 5" snare responds quickly and maintains good accent definition.
The 1.6 mm triple-flange hoops on the toms and snare enhance sound projection. Matching wooden hoops on the bass drum accentuate the depth of the bass. Gretsch skins made by Remo ensure durability and a consistent sound.
Low-profile toms brackets and L-arm for stable, comfortable mounting. The 'Gas Cap' mounting plate and Mini GTS system stabilise the bass drum. The chrome hardware is robust and easy to handle. The Bronze Sparkle finish brings a unique, sparkling look to the stage.
