Presentation
Here to help you write your own story is the Memoir DS-240. This retro-looking sloping-shoulder dreadnought is built with a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides with an elegant, high-gloss finish. The vintage-inspired mother-of-pearl rosette and Guild Script logo pay homage to the classic style of 1920s instruments. The sound of the DS-240 is instantly warm, clear and inviting, almost as if its tone has been perfected over years of fireside strumming and family jamming.

The Westerly collection pays tribute to an important period in Guild's early history, when Guild outgrew the beloved Hoboken, New Jersey factory and moved production to Westerly, Rhode Island in 1967. Finding a home in an old furniture manufacturing building, Guild took advantage of the additional space the new site had to offer and improved upon the production layout left in Hoboken.
With a fresh start, highly skilled employees and plenty of room to grow, Guild flourished. It wasn't long before the Westerly factory became renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, quality and the introduction of many of the Guild's beloved acoustics. The dedication to innovation was evident, with meticulous attention to detail. Inspired by this golden age, the Guild Westerly collection continues the tradition of impeccable craftsmanship and unwavering excellence by incorporating high quality materials and classic Guild designs into every instrument.
