The TYPE 20 A-CORE Right embodies HEDD's most direct and rigorous vision of analogue monitoring. Positioned as the most imposing 3-channel model in the A-CORE series, it is aimed at studios seeking faithful, stable and predictable reproduction, without software intervention or intermediate digital processing. Here, every design decision is aimed at ensuring signal transparency and consistent reproduction over time.

This straight speaker uses the analogue architecture developed from research carried out on the MK2 and Tower Mains ranges. The heart of the system is a dedicated analogue filter card, carefully calibrated to ensure a smooth transition between registers and a coherent phase response.

The total absence of DSP means that latency remains extremely low and the system behaves naturally, which is particularly appreciated when working with precision on dynamics, transients and spatialisation.

The high register is handled by the AMT Air Motion Transformer tweeter, hand-made in Berlin, renowned for its speed and ability to reproduce the finest detail without aggression. The midrange and bass frequencies are handled by two custom Honeycomb drivers, combining structural rigidity and low moving mass to preserve articulation and depth, even at high levels.

The whole system is powered by three 300-watt ICEpower amplifiers, offering a comfortable power reserve and excellent thermal stability. This amplification ensures ample dynamics, without perceptible compression, while maintaining a low level of distortion.

The TYPE 20 A-CORE Right features full analogue inputs in XLR, TRS and RCA, as well as bass and treble controls for overall adjustment to room acoustics.

Assembled and tested individually in Germany, A-CORE speakers are built for long-term reliability and consistent sound. This straight version is therefore a robust, precise and durable work tool, equally suited to mixing, mastering and professional immersive installations.
