With the H-137 in this Black finish, the Ascent series adopts a deliberately more streamlined approach, focused on playability and ease of use. The okoume body helps to lighten the instrument while maintaining a warm, balanced sound base. This choice of wood gives a fast response, with a strong midrange and good playability, whether in clean sound or with more gain.

The single-cut format remains familiar, but the ergonomics have been modernised with a belly cut for improved comfort when standing up. The result is a guitar that is pleasant to handle over time, without feeling excessively heavy. The screwed maple neck, combined with a C-profile, offers a simple, effective grip, suitable for all levels of player. The laurel fingerboard with a 12" radius ensures a good balance between rhythmic playing and more expressive passages.

The humbucker configuration makes the instrument clearly versatile. The sound remains full and defined, with an ability to adapt to a variety of registers, from soft, round tones to more saturated textures. The electronics remain deliberately simple, with two volumes, two tones and a three-position selector, so you can quickly obtain the desired settings without complexity.
