Guitar Hollow Body
The Heritage Standard II Collection H-535 Chestnut Burst continues the iconic semi-hollow formula with American manufacturing and a warm finish. Thanks to its 225 Standard pickups and series/parallel cabling, it offers a wide variety of sound textures, suitable for both round tones and more incisive registers.

Presentation
With this Chestnut Burst version, the H-535 retains the essential character of Kalamazoo's semi-hollows, while offering a modern approach to playing and sound. Its laminated curly maple construction produces a balanced response, with good acoustic projection and controlled sustain as the gain level increases. This configuration provides a stable sound base, capable of adapting to different contexts without losing clarity.
The Heritage Custom Shop 225 Standard Humbuckers provide a rich, nuanced response. Designed and wound in-house, they are based on a precise architecture that favours dynamics and definition. The bass remains present without becoming intrusive, the midrange retains body and the treble remains usable, even in more saturated configurations. This combination covers a wide spectrum, from open chords to more articulate lines.
The serial/parallel switching system built into the tone controls takes the instrument even further. It's possible to move quickly from a dense, structured register to a more airy, brilliant response, while maintaining a consistent output level. This flexibility integrates naturally into everyday use, without the need for complex adjustments.
The mahogany neck, combined with a '60s C-profile, offers a comfortable, even grip. The whole design remains true to the spirit of the Parsons Street factory, with particular attention paid to the overall balance of the instrument and its coherence in playing situations.
