The Heritage Custom Shop 225 Standard Humbuckers pickups define much of the sonic character of the instrument. Manufactured in-house, they are based on a precise construction that delivers a balanced sound across the entire spectrum. The bass remains controlled, the midrange has good presence and the treble is precise without being aggressive. This configuration allows you to work with both clean, detailed sounds and more saturated textures, while maintaining good clarity.

The integration of a serial/parallel system via the tone controls adds an extra dimension to the instrument.
