The AZ24027 combines state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques with Japanese craftsmanship to achieve true innovation in design and construction. It's equipped with Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups that feature a moderate output level to retain the clarity of the fundamental tone when used in distortion and to provide a clear attack. From treble to bass, the overall tonal balance is evenly adjusted and works well with a variety of effects pedals. It features the Dyna-MIX 10 system, which offers ten tonal variations and can easily switch humbuckers to single-coil using the mini switch. Power Tap mode delivers a realistic single-coil sound despite its dual humbucker arrangement. The torrefied maple neck has been given a special S-TECH treatment that increases the wood's stability, durability, water resistance and tolerance to temperature changes.
