The RG421DX TWS follows in the tradition of performance-oriented RG guitars, with a simple, straightforward approach. There's no vibrato or complex electronics here: everything is designed to deliver immediate response, excellent tuning and intuitive handling.

The Wizard III maple neck is one of this model's greatest assets. Thin, flat and fast, it encourages technical playing, fast progressions and movement along the entire length of the neck. Combined with a jatoba fingerboard and 24 jumbo frets, it offers a fluid, precise playing feel, whether you're riffing hard or playing more expressive solos.

The meranti body provides a balanced tonal base, with a strong midrange and an even response. This base works perfectly with the pair of Quantum humbucker pickups. The neck pickup delivers a round, precise sound, while the bridge pickup provides more attack and definition for saturated rhythms and cutting leads. The passive electronics are deliberately kept simple, to ensure maximum signal clarity.

The F106 fixed bridge reinforces this philosophy. It ensures excellent vibration transmission, solid sustain and appreciable tuning stability, particularly for alternative tunings or energetic playing. The package is completed by a robust mono-block jack output, designed to withstand regular use.
