The RG series' signature Wizard III maple neck is designed for fast and smooth playability. Thin, flat and strong, this neck lets you explore a range of techniques thanks to its 24 jumbo frets.
The two-octave neck design offers great freedom in the upper register, while the jatoba fingerboard with sharktooth inlays provides a striking aesthetic while providing well-balanced mids and crisp highs.
The Quantum pickups, a H-S-H set (humbucker, single-coil, humbucker), offer impressive sonic versatility. The neck pickup (Quantum H) and bridge pickup (Quantum H) are both passive with ceramic magnets, ideal for heavy riffs and clear articulation on fast rhythms. The single-coil pickup (Quantum S) in the middle is equipped with alnico magnets, providing a clear and bright response, perfect for crystal clear cleans or subtle melodic passages.
The Edge-Zero II bridge with a locking system maintains tuning stability even during heavy use of vibrato. This bridge features a low profile for optimal playing comfort while offering locking functions for improved tuning accuracy.
The single-unit jack output system is designed to prevent movement and accidental disconnections, ensuring a hassle-free playing experience, even on stage.
