JBL Pro - PRX412M WH

In the PRX400 series, JBL has designed the PRX412M-WH as a 2-way passive loudspeaker, suitable for use as a front-of-house or monitor speaker. The 12-inch (305 mm) driver handles the bass and midrange, paired with a 1-inch polymer-diaphragm compression driver for the treble, with a dispersion pattern of 90° x 50°. The frequency response ranges from 50 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB) and from 62 Hz to 19 kHz (±3 dB). The passive crossover cuts off at 2.0 kHz between the JBL MB112-8 woofer and the JBL 2414H-C tweeter.

For external amplification, it handles 300 W continuous, 600 W programme and 1200 W peak, with a sensitivity of 95 dB (1 W / 1 m), a continuous SPL of 120 dB and a maximum peak SPL of 126 dB, at an impedance of 8 ohms. SonicGuard protects the tweeter from signal overloads.

The 18 mm birch and poplar plywood cabinet forms this asymmetrical monitor enclosure and minimises unwanted structural vibrations. The DuraFlex finish withstands repeated handling on stage. The 16-gauge perforated steel grille, lined with an acoustically transparent screen, covers the driver without obstructing sound transmission. Twelve M10 mounting points and a 35 mm dual-angle (0° / -10°) mounting plate allow for stand or suspension mounting; the glass-fibre-reinforced nylon handle is designed for transport.

Two parallel-wired speakON NL-2 / 6.35 mm jack combo inputs allow multiple speakers to be connected to a single signal. The compact, low-profile design, combined with the white finish, integrates seamlessly into a front-of-house or monitor system, whether in a concert hall or a club.
