The Martin Audio Blackline Q12-B 2-way passive loudspeaker is a PA speaker with a 12" driver, designed to handle high levels while remaining transportable. It features a 300mm bass driver with a 2.5" voice coil, which produces solid, clean bass for live music or DJs.

The high-frequency compression driver with 1.7" dome takes over with precision, keeping vocals well defined even at high volumes. The differentially-dispersing horn can be rotated to suit the position of the speaker, so that sound coverage can be adapted to the front or rear of the stage. The dispersion covers between 90° and 110° horizontally and 50° vertically, helping to spread the sound evenly across the listening area.

The multi-angled plywood cabinet makes positioning easy, whether on a stand, wedge or fixed installation. The solid construction with screw-fastened steel grille effectively protects the components during frequent moves. M8 inserts allow for wall or suspension mounting, practical for permanent installations in bars or halls. The integrated handle simplifies handling for quick set-ups. The loudspeaker operates at 8 ohms and accepts 300 W AES, with a peak reserve of up to 1200 W, giving plenty of headroom for dynamic peaks. It achieves a sound pressure level of 127 dB peak, suitable for small stages, clubs or events.

Used on its own, it is suitable for wide diffusion or monitor, but combined with a subwoofer from the BlacklineQ series, it can cover a dancefloor with more headroom at the bottom. It requires an amp and processor to work properly, particularly to manage filtering and equalisation. NL4 connectors make it easy to daisy-chain to other speakers.
