The Jackson JS Series Surfcaster JS22 HT Metallic Red electric guitar combines a distinctive asymmetrical design with an HH pickup configuration designed to deliver a variety of tonal colours. Its fixed Jackson Hardtail bridge offers a direct playing experience, whilst the two Jackson High-Output humbucker pickups round off its character. Its Metallic Red finish and black hardware reinforce its visual identity, in keeping with the modern spirit of the JS series.
Presentation
Its poplar body features the asymmetrical Surfcaster shape, enhanced by a Gloss Metallic Red finish and black hardware. This combination gives it a striking visual presence whilst retaining the distinctive identity of the JS range.
The bolt-on maple neck, featuring graphite reinforcement and a scarf joint, is paired with an amaranth fingerboard boasting a compound radius ranging from 12" to 16". The 22 jumbo frets facilitate easy navigation along the neck and allow players to tackle different playing styles with ease.
The HH configuration features two Jackson High-Output Humbucking pickups. Combined with the three-position selector switch and volume and tone controls, they allow the musician to explore a range of tonal nuances to suit their needs.
