DJ Cartridge
Handcrafted and assembled in Japan, the J44D DJ Improved Black kit is designed for DJs who want the smooth, full-bodied, balanced and highly musical sound of the Shure M44G and N44G cartridges and diamonds that have proven their worth for decades.

Presentation
This kit reproduces the sound of authentic Shure cartridges, and benefits from improvements made by Jico to better meet the needs of DJs.
The contact force has been increased to ensure better tracking for the most demanding scratch sessions, rising from a maximum of 3g for the Shure model to 4.5g.
To protect the diamond, this model has a protective screen that folds down in front of the diamond to prevent any unexpected contact.
Jico has worked hard to offer audiophiles and DJs an alternative to the famous Shure M44G and N44G cells and diamonds, true legends that have marked the history of hip-hop and scratching.
The N44G DJ stylus, with its tubular aluminium alloy S-shaped cantilever, precision-machined to match Shure cantilevers as closely as possible, is combined with an integral (bare) diamond to provide excellent groove guidance and increased playback skip resistance, while giving you the benefit of high signal definition.

Handcrafted in Japan.
JICO, an acronym for Nippon Precision Jewel Industry Co. LTD, is a Japanese manufacturer whose name is well known to afficionados of high-quality cells and diamonds for vinyl turntables, both audiophiles and DJs.
This family business based in the Hamasaka region of the Land of the Rising Sun, whose origins date back to 1873, began its history by manufacturing sewing needles, a precision activity that already foreshadowed its future.
Since 1966, the brand has been making the diamonds and cantilevers for which it is famous, and has continued to innovate while retaining traditional manufacturing techniques. It now offers its own cell holders, cells and diamonds for the enjoyment of all vinyl lovers.
