VM95 Series compatibility with AT-XP Series DJ cartridges

The XP Series electromagnetic generator is fully compatible with all VM95 Series replacement styluses, but will provide a higher output voltage than the VM95 Series cells. In this way, the adaptation is optimised for the phono inputs of professional DJ consoles, which have less gain than Hi-Fi equipment.
The VM95 Series electromagnetic generator is also compatible with the three replacement styluses of the XP Series DJ cartridges, however the VM95 Series electromagnetic generator will provide a lower output voltage than the XP Series cartridge to ensure better compatibility with the phono inputs of Hi-Fi equipment.
Please note that the recommended pressure force when using XP Series pick-ups is 3g, compared with 2g for VM95 Series pick-ups.
The design of the suspensions and the compliance of the XP Series stylus have been adapted for DJ use, with the possibility of manual front and rear spotting. Note: the VM Dual Magnet architecture makes it unsuitable for intensive scratching.
The VM95 series suspensions and their compliance characteristics have been designed to provide optimum audiophile reproduction.
