With Kali Audio and the SM-5, you have total control thanks to the on-board DSP that allows you to adjust up to 8 parametric EQs, a delay of up to 10 ms and a fine trim of -12 to +6 dB, offering exceptional precision for adapting the speaker to your space. The aluminium tweeter exploits a unique geometry to reduce ultrasonic resonance and preserve treble clarity, while the contoured midrange ensures optimum directivity and minimal intermodulation, making every instrument distinct, every vocal detailed and every bass effortlessly natural, all with a DSP latency of less than 3 ms for instant tracking of your mixes.

The SM-5's woofer is rigid and lightweight, magnetically stabilised to reduce distortion and maximise dynamics, while the front ported construction amplifies bass with precision. The recessed input panel offers XLR/Jack input, AES/EBU via BNC and Ethernet control via RJ-45, ensuring simple integration whether the speaker is placed on a desk or mounted via a Triad-Orbit bracket for more ambitious installations.

Kali Audio and the SM-5 invite you to take advantage of ergonomics thought out down to the smallest detail: on the front, the logo is a capacitive multifunction button that controls standby functions and EQ activation, and the multicolour LED indicates trim and DSP processing status, as well as performance alerts. Each loudspeaker can be calibrated directly via the Kali Control Panel on Mac or Windows, online or offline, without adding latency, enabling fast, efficient and intuitive adjustment that guarantees you faithful and comfortable reproduction in all environments, whether for mixing, mastering or everyday monitoring.
