The KT-DANTE64 module offers Audinate Dante compatibility for Klark Teknik DN9650 and DN9652 network bridges, and includes up to 64 or 32 bi-directional channels at 48 kHz or 96 kHz respectively. It offers high-performance direct audio recording, flexible routing and true Plug and Play technology with low latency and sub-microsecond timing.

The Dante virtual sound card allows direct connection to a computer for recording, processing and playback using any audio application and any combination of Dante-compatible devices. *
It uses a standard Ethernet port, so no additional audio interface hardware is required.
The Dante virtual sound card allows audio routing to different destinations and devices for up to 64 channels of uncompressed, bi-directional audio.
It is ideally suited to virtual sound checks and live playback and recording applications.
KT-DANTE64 is electrically and mechanically compatible with the Cirrus CM-1 standard format.

Dante is Internet Protocol (IP) compliant, allowing operation over conventional Ethernet networks running on standard computer network hardware, and does not require a dedicated network infrastructure.
Dante's Zero Configuration Protocol allows compatible devices to automatically identify and configure themselves when connected to a network.
Dante-compatible devices detect each other on the network and learn each other's capabilities, including the number of input and output channels, sample rates and bit depths supported.
A Dante-enabled device connected to a network will also automatically configure its own network settings.
