Presentation
This patch cable is a variant of the KIK cable, specially designed for pedal boards. Its thin metal connectors, known as "pancake" plugs, are epoxy-coated and incorporate a short rubber sleeve where the cable passes through. The connection is made by soldering, with the same requirements as always: reliability, high mechanical load and good capacitive values.
Despite its low budget, this cable benefits from a meticulous design focused on user comfort and the quality of sound reproduction. In fact, this cable is designed with a double spiral shield made of high-quality oxygen-free copper (99.95% purity). Combined with a lead-free PVC sheath and a conductive shield made of synthetic material, you get a cable that is no longer subject to interference and has a category C10200 rating in the OFHC group.
