Patch Cable
The Boss BPC-18 solves the compact pedalboard equation: slimline pancake connectors 7.8 mm high, oxygen-free copper and 24K gold contacts for loss-free patching between pedals with reduced spacing. Forty-five centimetres of woven cable, guaranteed for life, tailored for the 200 and 500 series.

Presentation
On a dense pedalboard, signal quality is determined by the thickness of a connector, and every millimetre gained in jack height means an extra pedal that can be installed without mechanical conflict with its neighbour; the Boss BPC-18 takes this physical reality as its starting point. Its slimline pancake connector, at just 7.8mm high and 13.6mm wide, literally flushes against the side of the pedal, where a standard angled jack overhangs and blocks access to adjacent switches. The low profile is not an aesthetic detail - it's the prerequisite for the cable to disappear from the pedalboard.
The signal chain benefits from the same construction as the long-distance stage cables in the range: oxygen-free copper conductor for minimum internal resistance on this ultra-short route, robust braided shielding to cancel out electromagnetic interference from on-board power supplies, woven outer jacket to take the permanent bends imposed by the density of the pedalboard without hardening or cracking. The 24K gold-plated contacts maintain stable conductivity over time, protected from the oxidation generated by humid stage environments.
Designed primarily for Boss 200 and 500 series pedals, whose compact size dictates a reduced spacing between the output jacks, the BPC-18 can be adapted without restriction to any pedalboard whose density makes standard patches unusable. Forty-five centimetres covers the connection between two adjacent or slightly spaced pedals. Guaranteed for life, it fits into a permanent cabling system - fitted once, tightened, forgotten.
