The Kurzweil KA-E1 LB Black digital piano has been designed for musicians who are looking for an easy-to-use instrument with the feel of an acoustic piano. The 88-note, weighted H1 Ivory keyboard uses a 4-zone hammer-action action with adjustable sensitivity to better adapt the response to playing habits. The black keys have a wood-inspired texture, while the white keys have a pleasant synthetic ivory finish. Its relatively light format makes it easy to move around for rehearsals, lessons or mobile performances. The black colour keeps a discreet and elegant appearance in a variety of environments.

The KORE 1.0 sound library features 20 carefully selected instruments, including acoustic pianos, electric pianos, organs, clavinets and string ensembles. The 128-voice polyphony allows you to play more comfortably in rich passages or when using the sustain pedal. Split, Layer and Duo modes let you quickly create different playing configurations to suit the way you work. The built-in metronome with 14 rhythm signatures helps you keep up a regular and precise practice routine. There's also a 1-track recorder for quickly capturing ideas or exercises.

The 30 W stereo sound system with 4 speakers delivers balanced sound for everyday work at home or in a small room. Bluetooth Audio and MIDI make it easy to connect to a smartphone, tablet or other compatible software without the need for an extra cable. USB Audio/MIDI also makes it easy to use with a computer to record or control virtual instruments. There's also a stereo audio input, headphone output and line output for connecting the piano to an external system. The KA-E1 can run on mains power or 8 D-cell batteries for playing in places with no electrical outlet.

This model includes a music stand and a switch-type sustain pedal so you can start playing straight away. Two optional stands are available depending on the installation required, with the ST-2 without integrated pedals or the ST-3 with a complete 3-pedal unit. The reduced depth of the chassis helps to save space in more compact rooms. The controls remain simple and quick to understand, making the instrument accessible even for family or educational use.
