Presentation
It can be used both in the studio and live, thanks to its 60W and 300W modes, and can easily be mounted in a 19-inch rack. You can record easily without needing to connect the head to a speaker, thanks to the dummy load, which simulates the load of the speaker for ideal sound on your DAW or in your headphones. Both the amplified signal and the clean dummy load signal are intercepted when you connect your device to the built-in USB socket for maximum freedom. The IRT-SLS has a USB audio input/output and a RE-AMP send socket, which means you can modify the guitar sound of your original recording - without having to re-record anything!
Pulling each of the EQ control knobs shifts the response of each control as follows:
- Bass -> Deep: extends the bass frequency response, giving a fuller, heavier sound for the lower notes.
- Mid -> Shift: lowers the frequency range of the Mid control to give a tighter sound.
- Treble -> Shift: widens the frequency response of the Treble control, giving a rounder sound to high notes, particularly when used with thin-sounding microphones.
