The Sire Larry Carlton Q7 Hollow Transparent Blue is designed to offer a precise interplay between acoustic resonance and electrical control. Its chambered mahogany body, combined with a solid carved maple top with flame veneer, encourages open projection while retaining a definition suited to modern contexts.
This design optimises harmonic richness without altering signal legibility. The mahogany neck, joined to the body, contributes to efficient vibration transmission. Its C-shaped profile ensures an even grip along the entire length of the tuning fork.
The Edgeless™ ebony fingerboard, with rounded edges, improves playing comfort and continuity of movement. The 22 Medium Jumbo stainless steel frets and 10" radius allow for precise execution, both in complex chords and melodic playing.
The electronics include two LC Q humbuckers, controlled by a 3-position selector, as well as independent volume and tone controls. This configuration allows detailed adjustment of the signal.
The Tune-O-Matic bridge with aluminium Stop Tailpiece, combined with lockable tuning machines, ensures tuning stability and mechanical consistency. The whole set has a Transparent Blue finish with chrome hardware.
