RSL2 technology, developed by LaserAnimation Sollinger, plays a key role in this balance, improving optical quality while reducing the overall footprint.

This choice is immediately apparent on installation. The format is easy to integrate, whether as part of a structure, a bridge or in more discreet configurations. This positioning opens up some interesting possibilities, particularly when you need to increase the number of sources without weighing down the overall system.

Visually, the PL-5 doesn't try to compete on raw power alone. The beam remains sharp, with good hold over distance and contained divergence. Combined with analogue modulation, this results in progressive colour transitions and a more nuanced rendering, particularly useful for graphic projections.

The presence of 45 kpps scanners also marks a difference. The laser can produce more precise shapes and more detailed animations, making it relevant in contexts where the legibility of plots is important. This level of definition makes it possible to go beyond traditional effects to work on more elaborate content.

In terms of control, the integrated ShowNET card centralises the possibilities. Control can be networked via various software packages, or via DMX or Art-Net for integration into a lighting control system. Content can be loaded directly into the internal memory, then triggered according to the chosen mode, simplifying management in the field.

The IP65 enclosure completes the package, providing real flexibility of use. The PL-5 can be installed outdoors or in harsh environments without the need for additional protection. This feature, combined with its compact size, makes it a versatile tool, capable of adapting to a wide variety of configurations.
