Accessories and Micro Stands
The Latin Percussion LP592A-X mic clamp lets you attach a mic directly to a snare drum, tom, timpani or conga without having to lug around a whole stand. The ratchet system rotates freely to set the exact angle, while the 3/8" Z-rod moves the mic closer or further away as you feel fit. The rubber coating limits stray vibrations, helping to keep a clean grip even when the going gets tough!

Presentation
The Latin Percussion LP592A-X microphone clamp uses a reinforced plastic compound that retains real solidity even when it is handled frequently in rehearsal.
Its spring-loaded jaw clamps quickly onto a snare drum, tom, timpani or conga strap without requiring any tools. The ratchet system allows the pickup to be aimed point by point, making adjustments much more precise on stage. The 3/8" Z-shank accepts both compact and heavier microphones.
The rubber coating on the clamp and the base of the stand reduces the vibrations that travel up into the capsule. This isolation prevents hum and structure-borne noise when playing loudly. The clamp stays firmly in place, even when the instrument is moving or when you change position quickly.
Its compact size helps to keep the set clear, especially on tight kits.

To find out more...
Latin Percussion was founded in 1964 in New York by Martin Cohen, who found it difficult to source musical instruments, partly because of import restrictions on Cuba following the 1962 missile crisis. It was impossible to buy congas, bongos and the like, so he made them himself! After a few unsuccessful attempts, he began to create good instruments, to establish himself on the market and then to become one of the leaders! He even became an exporter, so well known was his catalogue of products around the world!
Latin Percussion, also known as LP, is a brand of musical instruments specialising in ethnic percussion instruments. They are built to withstand the rigours of intensive use, on a drum kit, in an orchestra or other application. There's a real desire to innovate and give musicians something extra to play with, without losing any of the sensations.
