The HPA 1 offers, besides locking XLR balanced input connectors to the stereo L / R signal, a stereo mini jack socket 3.5 mm auxiliary input that can be used to stream parallel a click or a song. For an optimal use security, the headphone amplifier is protected against excessive input level, and a coaxial socket for DC voltage (negative pole center) allows the connection of a fixed use AC adapter.
The headphone / ear canal phones is made on a base stereo mini-jack 3.5 mm. The level and scale can be adjusted via rotary knobs are easy to use; a button to summon the stereo signal in mono. To avoid distortion in the amplified signal, and to protect the ears when Larsen, the HPA 1 is equipped with a powerful built-in limiter.
It is also equipped with two-color LEDs to display its operating conditions, including the activation of the limiter signal peaks and battery status. With only 165 g, the headphone amp is a real lightweight; the 9 volt battery provides a battery life of up to 12 hours.
