Presentation
The Phonitor One from renowned German manufacturer SPL is an audiophile headphone amplifier of exceptional sound quality, equipped with the proprietary Phonitor Matrix function for infinitely variable crosstalk.
The quality of the components is uncompromising: 2 Burr-Brown OPA2134 operational amplifiers with extremely low response times for enhanced image liveliness and openness, electrolytic capacitors with noble gold from Panasonic and an elaborately designed DC voltage decoupling significantly improve the treble image. The power amplifier is designed as a Class AB circuit and provides sufficient power even for Kopfhörer with an impedance of 600ohm. The power supply is capable of delivering 34V for the preamplifier and 38V for the power amplifier despite a standard 12V wall socket, and thanks to the output buffer it has sufficient current reserves for low-impedance headphones.
