Mac Mah - Trium 1200

The Mac Mah Trium 1200 combines the essential components of a complete stereo sound system in a single unit: a 15-inch active subwoofer, two passive satellite speakers and the necessary amplification for the whole system. This three-way design allows the bass to be handled by a dedicated driver, whilst the satellite speakers handle the midrange and treble. The result is a coherent setup for DJs, presenters, organisations, bars, small stages and private events.

The heart of the system lies in the powered subwoofer. Its Class D amplifier delivers 400 W RMS to the subwoofer, plus 2 x 100 W RMS to the satellite outputs. The maximum rated power is 1200 W. This means no external amplifier is required to operate the system: the two satellite speakers connect directly to the subwoofer via SpeakON.

The 15-inch driver provides the necessary punch for kick drums, bass lines and contemporary music. The adjustable crossover frequency, ranging from 40 to 200 Hz, allows the frequency split to be tailored to the musical programme, the system’s placement or the venue’s acoustics. A 0/180° phase selector helps optimise bass integration, whilst the sub’s separate level control facilitates overall balance.

The built-in DSP offers five EQ presets. This section allows you to quickly adjust the system’s behaviour to suit the playback context, without the need for an external processor. The limiter and protection against short circuits and overheating also help to manage the electronics during performances.

Each passive satellite combines two 5-inch drivers with a 1-inch compression driver. This configuration delivers sound reproduction suited to vocals, instruments and musical content, whilst ensuring the speakers are easy to integrate around a control room or stage area. A standard 35 mm mounting socket allows them to be fitted onto compatible speaker stands.

The Trium 1200 is not limited to a simple line input. It features two microphone inputs via XLR/6.35 mm jack combo sockets, each with level control and an echo effect. A stereo line input via RCA and XLR combo sockets completes the analogue section, along with a 3.5 mm mini-jack auxiliary input. The Mix Out outputs via XLR make it easy to send the mix to other audio equipment.

For music playback, the system includes a USB player and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. A playlist, background music or a mobile device can therefore be quickly added to the broadcast. The side handles on the subwoofer and satellite speakers make handling easier, whilst the system’s painted finish and understated design blend naturally into an event setup.

The Mac Mah Trium 1200 comes with two 6-metre SpeakON cables to connect the satellite speakers to the subwoofer. Speaker stands are available separately, notably under the model numbers BOOSV200 and PLUST180.
