Presentation
The Mackie ProFX16v3 is a 16-channel USB mixing console that raises the bar for audio performance in the studio and on stage. Designed for professionals, this console combines flexibility and robust features in a compact and efficient form factor.
It features two balanced XLR/jack combo mono inputs with options such as adjustable gain up to 60 dB, a Hi-Z switch and a 100 Hz low-cut filter, making these channels ideal for handling both mics and instruments.
Additionally, six mono mic/line inputs and three mono/stereo inputs provide great versatility for handling a variety of audio sources. A stereo minijack input also allows for easy integration of mobile audio devices.
Mixing features include volume, mute, solo and pan controls per channel. Each channel also features a three-band EQ with semi-parametric mids, with the exception of the last channels which offer a standard three-band EQ. The first eight channels benefit from a compressor, thus optimizing the dynamic management of the main inputs.
The effects section is not left out, thanks to the GigFX multi-effect which offers 24 presets easily controlled via pedal, perfect for adjusting effects in real time.
The console integrates a USB port for playback and recording, and allows USB / DIRECT mix control on the headphone and Control Room outputs, ensuring maximum flexibility for monitoring.
With 48 V phantom power, subgroups with independent outputs, and main L & R outputs on balanced XLR and jack, the ProFX16v3 is ready to meet the most rigorous needs of music and audio professionals.

Since the beginning of January 2022, Pro Tools has stopped distributing its Pro Tools First software, which was bundled with many Mackie products (so it is probably the same for all other brands that could offer this Software offer).
Even if the recording cards are still present in the products we currently have in stock, the offer is no longer available.
However, these products still come with a full version of the WaveForm OEM software (which is similar to Ableton Live) and the DAW Essentials collection including 16 plug-in effects to use with any S.T.A.N.

J'ai apprécié le EQ 3-bandes avec mid semi-param, les 4 départs retours auxiliaires, le préamp ONYX me semble pas mal, je n'ai constaté aucun souffle, les effets sont corrects. Pour ma part, il manque les entrées RCA même s'ils ont été replacées par un mini jack stéréo. Les commandes MUTE m'ont un peu déstabilisé au départ, elles sont allumées quand c'est désactivé, j'aurais préféré le contraire. Je n'ai pas encore testé la sortie USB
