When you're playing one song after another without lifting your foot, the Mapex T685 seat is just the ticket. Thanks to its wide, saddle-shaped seat, it takes care of your support without compressing you.
And with its velour cover, there's no need to get up in a sweat after each set. The height is easily adjusted using a threaded screw, and once it's locked in place, it won't budge. What's more, the slight tilt of the seat (2.5° towards the back) prevents you from slipping.
In terms of stability, the double-base tripod with non-slip feet does its job well. Even on a smooth floor or in a solo, the seat stays firmly on the ground. At 14" wide and 10 cm thick, it's a real little stage chair.
It's not too heavy, it's easy to transport and it can be put away in no time at all.
