At the end of 1965, a production of 40 amplifiers and 100 speakers per week was no longer sufficient to meet all the orders. Demand had literally grown exponentially in the space of 3 years. The only solution was to move to a larger factory in Bletchley, Buckinghamshire. At the same time, while the world was moving to the rhythm of the choruses of British groups, Marshall was enjoying absolute visibility... the Marshall legend was on the march!
Today, the English firm employs more than 220 people in England. References such as JCM2000, ValveState, MG series, Mode Four or, more recently, JVM and Vintage Modern prove that at all times, remarkable products that are totally in line with the expectations of guitarists have seen the light of day, in line with the excellence instilled in the company by its founder. It is possible to trace the history of rock simply through the evolution of Marshall amps. When Jim Marshall's death was announced on April 5, 2012, the Marshall team was driven by a single idea: to perpetuate the myth and legacy of the "father of loud" by recreating the rock sound of tomorrow every day.
