The Martin Audio Blackline Q218-B subwoofer is a dual 18" passive subwoofer designed to provide a solid, physical base for a professional broadcast system. It features two 18" drivers with 4" voice coils, which move a lot of air and produce dense bass. The response goes down to 38 Hz, with an extension to 31 Hz, which amply covers the needs of live, DJ or fixed installation applications. The SPL level reaches 142 dB peak, giving a real reserve for large configurations.

The thick plywood cabinet withstands the rigours of transport and intensive use. Slot vents reduce airborne noise and improve low-spectrum accuracy, especially at high volumes. The steel grille effectively protects the drivers without impeding airflow. The 4 ohm impedance allows you to fully exploit the power of suitable amplifiers.

This model can be easily integrated into a system with BlacklineQ series speakers to build a coherent sound system. It has three NL4 connectors, which simplifies daisy-chaining depending on the configuration. It can be floor-mounted, stacked or suspended using M10 inserts. An M20 base is provided to accommodate a mast and place a loudspeaker on top.

Side handles make it easy to handle, despite weighing in at over 80 kg. Skids and housings ensure stable stacking, which is practical when performing. This subwoofer should be used with a suitable processor and amplifier to get the best out of the system. It's equally at home in concerts, clubs, events and permanent installations.
