The A80TB is a passive two-way 8" loudspeaker designed to blend discreetly into any architectural environment. Its compact, sober design makes it easy to install in shops, hotels, restaurants, offices or conference centres without compromising sound quality. It combines an 8" woofer with 2" voice coil and ferrite motor with a 1" polymer dome tweeter mounted on a 90° x 50° horn, capable of delivering clear, balanced sound across the entire frequency spectrum from 63 Hz to 17 kHz.

With a rated power of 200 W AES and a peak of 800 W, the A80T can reach 120 dB at 1 metre, providing sufficient output for background or front-line applications. Its nominal impedance of 8 Ω means that several loudspeakers can be connected to a single channel of a low-impedance amplifier, such as the Martin Audio VIA2502 or VIA5004, to optimise cost and efficiency. For 70V/100V installations, it has a built-in transformer with rotary selector to adjust the desired power.

The bass and treble sections are individually protected against overload by self-resetting fuses, ensuring the safety of the transducers. The speaker can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the wall using the supplied WB6/8 bracket, and can also be adapted for ceiling mounting using an optional bracket. The UL94V-0 certified ABS enclosure is durable and can be painted to match any décor.

For outdoor use, the A80T can be fitted with an optional waterproof connector cover, providing IP54 protection against dust and splashing water. Combination with VIA amplifiers and the DX0.4 or DX0.6 controller enables efficient small-scale installations, while the DX4.0 and VU-NET software manage more complex systems. For applications requiring more bass and impact, the SX112 subwoofer is the perfect complement to the A80T.

The speaker is available in black and has a discreet yet modern style. Its design ensures even diffusion and dynamic response even at high sound levels. The A80T can be adapted to any configuration thanks to its vertical/horizontal versatility and the possibility of rotating its internal components.
