The FP12 from Martin Audio is a compact passive loudspeaker designed for professional applications where precision, acoustic pressure and coherent coverage are essential. Designed for short-range broadcasting, it combines a controlled format with a coaxial architecture that places the transducers on the same acoustic axis.

This principle ensures a homogenous response and a stable sound image throughout the listening area. The bass section is based on a 12-inch driver with a 3-inch voice coil and a low-distortion neodymium motor. This is combined with a 1.4-inch compression driver with a 3-inch titanium diaphragm.

Together, these elements deliver accurate reproduction over a wide bandwidth from 55 Hz to 20 kHz, with a maximum peak level of 128 dB SPL. Controlled dispersion of 90° horizontal by 60° vertical ensures clear, even coverage, suitable for both live environments and fixed installations.

The birch plywood cabinet has a multi-angle design, making it easy to use for both front of house and stage monitor applications. The coaxial driver can be rotated to maintain the correct dispersion orientation when the speaker is installed in portrait or landscape mode. The quick-release steel grille simplifies this operation.

Thanks to its numerous mounting points, double pole-mount and compatibility with Martin Audio system amplifiers and controllers, the FP12 can be easily integrated into performance, installation or event configurations.
