The Martin Audio SXCF118 subwoofer features a compact cardioid design and its ability to deliver optimum dispersion for high-quality low-frequency performance.
Featuring a front-firing 18-inch driver and a rear-firing 14-inch driver, each housed in an individual chamber with a bass-reflex port.
This design channels bass to the front while minimizing rear reflections, which is particularly beneficial in live sound reinforcement configurations or for fixed installations in venues or concert halls.

The iK42 amplifier is recommended to take full advantage of the SXCF118's capabilities, allowing individual management of both drivers through optimized DSP parameters. This system maximizes rear rejection with notable efficiency, ranging from 21 dB at 43 Hz to 28 dB at 75 Hz, ensuring precise low-frequency control and increased front-end impact.

Additionally, the birch plywood enclosure is built to withstand the rigors of touring, with a rugged polyurea finish and perforated steel grilles protecting the front and rear drivers, as well as suspension and coupling options for integration into modular configurations with other Martin Audio speakers.

Designed for a variety of environments, the Martin Audio SXCF118 is ideal for live sound reinforcement events, fixed installations in theaters and clubs, or even professional events.

With its interconnecting slides, this enclosure can be securely stacked, while the M20 threaded plate on top allows for pole mounting of speakers.
