Martin Audio - WPL Longbow Black

The Martin Audio WPL is a large-format line array system designed to meet the demands of high-power applications, both on tour and in fixed installations. Based on a 3-way bi-amplified architecture, it uses a fully-blocked design to optimise acoustic performance across the entire spectrum. This approach makes it possible to obtain a high pressure level while maintaining a homogeneous, controlled response.

The integration of two 12-inch drivers in Hybrid® configuration for the bass, combined with a pavilion midrange section covering the vocal range, guarantees precise and intelligible reproduction. The three compression drivers dedicated to high frequencies ensure effective extension up to 18 kHz, with a constant horizontal dispersion of 90°, favouring even coverage, even off-axis.

The WPL is part of a complete ecosystem including iKON amplifiers and DISPLAY software. This combination enables arrays to be optimised quickly and reliably, limiting the need for empirical adjustments and ensuring consistency between different systems. Control via VU-NET facilitates real-time management and supervision.

Its mechanical design incorporates a 3-point rigging system for hanging up to 24 elements, while remaining relatively compact in relation to its performance. Its robust, IP54-certified construction makes it suitable for demanding environments. The WPL is a coherent solution for large-scale events requiring power, precision and control.
