At 10", this Meinl HCS splash has a fast response, but with a marked projection. It is made from MS63 brass alloy.
Its traditional finish gives it a sober style that blends in with any kit. Thanks to its light weight, it responds immediately to the strike, even with thin sticks.
If you're playing rock or pop, it provides the ideal brilliance for choruses and transitions. It can also be interesting in funk grooves to underline a syncopation. Its timbre is slightly bright but retains a pleasant warmth, so it doesn't sound too dry.
