The Paiste PST 5 Splash 8" is a lightweight splash made from CuSn8 bronze, known as 2002 bronze, manufactured in Germany. It reacts very quickly, producing a bright, clear accent that disappears almost instantly. Its clean mix and supple feel make it equally at home in a rock kit or a more fusion- or pop-oriented setup. It's a simple-to-play splash, designed to add quick, clean touches to any track.

The Paiste PST 5 Splash 8" is based on CuSn8 alloy, the 2002 bronze made famous by the brand's historic series! It's lightweight, so it reacts to the slightest flick of the baton.
Its clear, bright sound remains focused, without overloading the mix. The narrow spectrum gives it a precise attack, ideal for short accents. The very short sustain leaves room for the rest of the kit without creating sonic clutter. The supple feel comes from the work carried out by Paiste during the complete overhaul of the series in 2014.
This update made the cymbals thinner and more flexible for more enjoyable playing. Yet the splash retains its brilliant identity, true to the 'Paiste Sound Technology' philosophy.
