The strength of this set lies in the cooperation between the Mipro MA-808BCD and MA-808 V2, two 18 kg behemoths protected by a high-resistance ABS shell. Each unit conceals a hybrid bi-amplification (Class D and AB) that pushes a 10-inch woofer and a 1.5-inch compression driver to the limit. You can cover impressive surfaces thanks to a bandwidth of 50 Hz to 18 kHz, while moving your workstations effortlessly thanks to the trolley with rubber wheels and retractable handle.
The interconnection between the two speakers becomes invisible thanks to the MTM-92 analogue HF transmitter, which broadcasts over a 24 MHz bandwidth. Its companion, the MRM 70B diversity UHF receiver module, uses synthesised PLL technology to stabilise the signal on one of 16 preset channels. The ACT function simplifies your installation by synchronising frequencies via infrared, while the Dual Pilotone Squelch locks the transmission to prevent unwanted noise from spoiling your speech.
On the interface side, the integrated mixer gives you total control over the acoustic grain, with an adjustable echo chamber and VOP voice priority. You can multiply your sources via the MP3 CD player, USB ports, Bluetooth or physical XLR, 6.35 mm jack and RCA inputs. You'll go the distance for up to 8 hours thanks to MB-70 batteries monitored by a 4-segment LED indicator, with the option of extending your system via the Speakon output for a passive loudspeaker.
