A bass is an instrument that is carried as much as it is played, and its weight, volume and neck length impose transport constraints that few cases really take into account; the Mono M80 Classic Ultra Bass takes this reality as its starting point. Its internal dimensions of 1,220 x 370 x 80 mm accommodate standard basses with precision, without excessive play that would encourage side impact, and the external envelope of 1,300 x 440 x 180 mm is within the dimensions accepted in the hold. All this at a weight of 4.1 kg, which is not too heavy for such a high level of protection.

Robustness begins on the surface. The 1680D ballistic nylon that makes up the outer shell resists abrasion and the occasional impact of backstage corridors or airport conveyor belts. The water-repellent fabric and waterproof zips form a continuous barrier against moisture. Inside, the Headlock® system holds the bass head in suspension, eliminating the micro-vibrations responsible for micro-cracks on long-necked instruments. The reinforced structure absorbs cargo compression. Reflective strips provide visual readability in low-light conditions.

The M80 Classic Ultra Bass is ideal for touring bassists and musicians who rehearse and play live in urban transport. Ergonomically designed padded straps distribute the 4.1 kg over the entire back, making journeys on foot or by public transport sustainable over time. The Freeride® Wheel system with removable wheels transforms the bag into a trolley without altering its everyday silhouette. The expandable front compartment and organised internal compartments hold cables, ropes and spare pedals. The pockets are Tick 2.0 and Tick+ 2.0 compatible for structured organisation of accessories, and the integrated AirTag pocket makes it possible to locate the instrument if lost in the hold, without altering the geometry of the bag.
