The MMT100FR marks its entry into the SonoVente.com landscape with a dual-faceted sound palette: in the neck position, the MMT-1N single-coil pickup deploys crystalline clarity and organic warmth ideal for incisive cleans; in the bridge position, the MMT-1B dual-coil pickup muscles the attack and densifies the grain for the most demanding saturations. Between the two, the split coil switch opens up a third territory - a single coil in the bridge position for brilliance and transparency. This is all set on a Fender-style 647.7mm (25.5") tuning fork, which adds string tension and promotes a lively dynamic response.
The body is made from American alder with a woody resonance and pronounced mid-range overtones, a wood that anchors the sound without weighing the instrument down. The satin-finish roasted maple neck glides under the palm with a dry, stable feel - moisture affects it less than standard maple, and its increased rigidity ensures a durable geometry. The rosewood fingerboard (305 mm radius) offers a naturally fat surface under the fingers and supports bends with minimal resistance. The double-action steel rod adjusts the relief in both directions, a useful feature in changing weather conditions. The 24 silver-nickel frets cover two full octaves with reduced maintenance thanks to their wear-resistant composition.
The Floyd Rose FRTS5000 with double locking - complemented by the string-lock saddle at the headstock - locks the tuning even after intense dives or ascents. This type of vibrato is ideal for guitarists who want to incorporate the expressiveness of the arm into their playing: metal, hard rock, shred.
