The Nedis WACA12V mains adapter converts a 230 V AC wall socket into a 12 V DC cigarette lighter output. This makes it possible to use accessories at home that were originally designed for in-car use, such as chargers for smartphones, GPS devices, hands-free kits and small mobile equipment.
This type of adapter is ideal for use at home, in the workshop or at a workstation where you want to reuse a car charging cable without using a vehicle. Simply plug the car charger into the adapter's cigarette-lighter socket, and you'll get the same functionality as with an on-board 12 V socket.
The WACA12V delivers a 12 V DC output voltage with a maximum current of 1.0 A and a power rating of 6 W. The power supply accepts a wide input range from 100 to 240 V AC, making it easy to use in a variety of mains supply situations.
