Nedis - VREP3480AT - Extenseur HDMI

The Nedis VREP3480AT has been developed for environments where the distribution of high-resolution video signals over long distances must remain reliable, stable and easy to deploy. It enables an HDMI signal to be extended up to 60 metres using a single Cat6a or higher network cable, a far more suitable solution than conventional HDMI cables when it comes to covering long distances in professional buildings.

This extender is particularly suited to digital signage, presentation and demonstration applications in locations such as businesses, educational establishments, retail outlets, hotels and healthcare centres. It supports resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K at 60 Hz, with a maximum bandwidth of 18 Gbps, guaranteeing a smooth, detailed image. Content is transmitted in Deep Color with a colour depth of up to 12 bits per channel, to preserve gradations and chromatic richness on compatible screens.

The VREP3480AT also transmits digital audio, with extensive compatibility including LPCM, Dolby TrueHD, DTS Digital and DTS-HD. This enables direct integration with AV systems without the need for an additional audio link. HDCP 2.2 compatibility allows protected content to be broadcast, including from professional sources or streaming platforms.

The extender incorporates a bi-directional infrared control system, with IR connections on both the transmitter and receiver. This makes it possible to control the source remotely from the display area, or vice versa. The transmitter also has an HDMI local loop output, enabling the signal to be monitored in real time on a screen close to the source. The receiver, meanwhile, has an RJ45 loop-through output, enabling several receivers - up to eight units - to be daisy-chained to extend the broadcast over even greater distances.
