The Nedis VCON3452AT responds to a problem that is still very much present in many domestic and professional installations: compatibility between old analogue equipment and modern screens. VCRs, DVD players or older consoles equipped with a SCART output can be connected to an HDMI TV without complex adaptation or tedious adjustment. The analogue signal is converted to digital HDMI, with amplification of the output signal to guarantee a stable image that can be used on Full HD screens.

The conversion supports a wide range of resolutions, from 480i to 1080p at 60 Hz, covering PAL, SECAM and NTSC standards. The 16:9 aspect ratio is maintained, enabling consistent display on today's TV sets. Video processing supports HDMI 24-bit colour formats and up to 36-bit in deep colour, with a maximum bandwidth of 1.65 Gbps, sufficient for smooth reproduction of converted analogue content.

In addition to simple SCART-to-HDMI conversion, this model also features an independent HDMI input. A pushbutton on the device allows you to quickly select the active source, SCART or HDMI, turning the VCON3452AT into a small audio-video switcher. This flexibility is particularly useful when TV connection space is limited.

Audio output is available separately via a 3.5 mm jack and a digital audio output, making it easy to integrate with an amplifier, sound bar or external audio system. The mains power supply provided ensures stable operation with low power consumption, both in operation and on standby. Its anthracite aluminium casing ensures good heat dissipation and discreet integration into an audiovisual environment.
