Presentation
The Nedis VCON3461BK has been designed to meet a need for reverse compatibility, allowing modern HDMI sources to be used with older televisions that only have a SCART input. It is aimed in particular at CRT televisions and the first generations of flat screens that do not have HDMI inputs, but are still perfectly functional for broadcasting video content.
This converter takes HDMI signals from media players, set-top boxes, consoles or computers and transforms them into an analogue SCART video signal compatible with PAL and NTSC standards. An integrated resolution selector lets you choose between 720p and 1080p output, so you can adapt the signal processing to the connected source and optimise display on non-HD screens.
Internal signal processing ensures automatic audio and video synchronisation, limiting any perceptible lag during playback. Installation is deliberately simplified thanks to Plug & Play operation, with no need for drivers or software configuration. A simple USB power supply is all that's needed to put the converter into service, making it easy to integrate into domestic or temporary installations.
